With standard cover, we hold a $3,000 bond on your credit card at pickup. That's the most you'd ever pay if something happens — and you get it back when the camper returns in good shape.
PEACE OF MIND UPGRADE
Want zero bond and zero worry? Our Peace of Mind upgrade covers everything — windscreen, tyres, panels, gravel roads — for just $29/day.
Which cover is right for you?
We include standard insurance with every rental — so you're covered from the start. But if you'd rather not think about ‘what ifs’ at all, our Peace of Mind upgrade takes care of everything.
It comes down to how you like to travel. Some people are happy with the standard bond. Others prefer to pay a little extra per day and forget about it completely. Either way, you're in good hands.
Both options include 24/7 roadside assistance. Insurance covers the vehicle only — we recommend travel insurance for your personal belongings.

All rentals include full comprehensive insurance. This covers damage to the camper from collisions, theft, fire, and weather events, subject to the excess/bond of your chosen plan. With Basic, your maximum liability is $3,000. With Peace of Mind, your liability is $0.
If you break down or have a mechanical issue anywhere in New Zealand, our roadside assistance partner will come to you. This is included free with every rental, regardless of which insurance plan you choose.
Peace of Mind covers accidental damage to the front, back, and side panels of the camper — including scratches, dents, and bumps from everyday driving. With Basic cover, you're liable up to the $3,000 bond if panel damage occurs.
Peace of Mind covers all windscreen damage (chips, cracks, full replacement) and tyre damage. With Basic cover, windscreen and tyre costs are your responsibility up to the bond amount.
New Zealand has incredible destinations at the end of gravel roads — and we want you to explore them freely. Peace of Mind covers damage from stones and gravel on unsealed roads. Basic cover excludes this, so check the road surface before venturing off the tarmac.
Neither plan covers damage caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, breach of the rental agreement terms, driving on prohibited roads or tracks, or single-vehicle rollovers caused by reckless driving. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your personal belongings, as neither plan covers personal property.
