What we collect
When you make a booking: your name, email address, phone number, flight number, and rental dates. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. When you contact us: the content of your message. Website: basic analytics (if enabled) and functional cookies.
Why we collect it
To process your booking and send confirmation emails. To communicate about your rental — pickup times, changes, and reminders. To improve our service over time. To comply with legal obligations, including 7-year financial record retention requirements under New Zealand law.
Where it's stored
Booking data is stored in Supabase (EU Frankfurt data centre). Emails are sent via Resend. Our website is hosted on Vercel. We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever.
Your rights
Under GDPR and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccuracies, request deletion (where we are not legally required to retain it), and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@justgoodcampers.com.
Third-party services
We use the following services, each with their own privacy policy: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (data storage), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (website hosting), Google Analytics (website analytics, only with your consent) and Google Ads (measuring which of our ads lead to a booking, only with your consent). We share only the minimum data necessary with each provider.
